What is modal payment?
The modal option displays the Redsys payment form as a lightbox overlay on top of your checkout page. The customer's browser stays on your domain (your URL remains in the address bar), and the payment form appears in an iframe overlay.
How does it work?
- Customer clicks Pay at checkout.
- A modal overlay opens on top of your page.
- Inside the modal: the full Redsys payment form (card entry + 3D Secure).
- Customer completes payment within the modal.
- Modal closes and the order is confirmed on your page.
